Business Process Analyst – Woburn, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Business Process Analyst position to join a Fortune 500 company located in Woburn, MA. The Business Process Analyst in the Global Finance organization is responsible for evaluating and improving financial processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. This role involves working with different teams to document, analyze, and recommend improvements to financial workflows, ensuring they align with the company’s transformation goals.

This is a 5-month contract position that will pay $40/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position offers a hybrid work model, onsite 3 days/week.

Responsibilities:

• Assess current financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions such as automation or workflow changes.
• Use data-driven insights to measure performance, perform root cause analysis, and track the impact of process changes.
• Work with finance teams to accurately map out current processes and document any enhancements.
• Assist in planning and executing finance-related projects, including developing project charters and coordinating with stakeholders.
• Work closely with process owners, provide training on new processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-7 years in process improvement, finance operations, or similar roles.
• Strong process mapping and modeling skills, data analysis, and knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to work effectively across teams.
