Client Reporting Analyst - Investment Management - Boston, MA
We are seeking candidates for a Client Reporting Analyst position with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. This position will be responsible for coordinating and analyzing client portfolios, address inquiries on various topics, and handle additional relevant tasks as needed. The Client Reporting Analyst will support the firm's Financial Intermediaries Group clients. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of financial service reporting experience within the financial services industry.
This is a 6-month contract position that will pay $35-40/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This role is required to be onsite in their Boston office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
- Gain a strong understanding of the firm’s investment approaches, client reporting requirements, and regulatory guidelines governing marketing and client communications.
- Develop expertise in the sub-advisory channel within the Financial Intermediaries Group, delivering product-level content for client reporting, including attribution and performance commentary, portfolio positioning, and key channel metrics.
- Prepare standard and customized client reports and presentations for upcoming meetings.
- Manage operational aspects of client relationships, including onboarding, portfolio closures, transitions, guideline updates, and benchmark changes.
- Respond to custom commentary requests and ad hoc inquiries on portfolio specifics, investment guidelines, and compliance matters.
- Conduct peer reviews of client deliverables to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Provide support during peak periods across the team and other Client Group functions as needed.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives that enhance team and firm-wide processes.
- Develop a broad knowledge of the firm’s product offerings.
- Bachelor’s degree is Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 2 - 4 years of client services experience within the investment management industry.
- CFA/MBA or progress towards these is preferred
- Previous or direct experience supporting client relationships is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of capital markets and investment products are necessary to facilitate comprehension of client inquiries and requests and experience along the distribution chain for the sub advisory channel is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, collaborative, time management, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment, where priorities change frequently and deadlines are often under significant time pressure.
