Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations; accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and GL
- Prepare, review, and present accurate financial statements and reports to senior management in a timely manner
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and the financial planning process
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring financial records are well-prepared and audit-ready
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets
- Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and optimize treasury functions
- Partner with executive leadership to provide valuable insights and recommendations for financial strategies and decisions
- Implement and enhance accounting systems and processes for improved efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA Preferred
- 7-15 years of experience in accounting within the construction, real estate, and or manufacturing industry
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ComputerEase, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Must be willing to be onsite 5 days/week
