Senior Acquisitions and Asset Management Analyst
We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Acquisitions and Asset Management Analyst opportunity with a real estate asset management firm located in Palm Beach, FL. The Senior Acquisitions and Asset Management Analyst will be responsible for overseeing complex transactions, underwriting, refinancing, recapitalization, and financing efforts, as well as managing the performance of assets. The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial modeling, cash flow management, deal structuring, and asset optimization.
This is a direct-hire opportunity with base salary between $100,000-$120,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial models for new investments and existing assets, supporting decision-making and strategic planning.
- Drive accurate asset valuations for acquisitions and dispositions using cap rates, discounted cash flow, and comparable sales.
- Lead underwriting for new acquisitions, refinancings, recapitalizations, and loan origination, utilizing Argus and Excel to develop comprehensive financial models (e.g., cash flow projections, IRR, NPV, sensitivity analysis).
- Lead loan origination efforts to secure debt financing for acquisitions, refinancings, and recapitalizations, negotiating favorable terms, interest rates, and loan covenants.
- Manage loan origination processes, including structuring deals, preparing loan applications, and coordinating with lenders, while optimizing the company’s capital structure.
- Oversee portfolio asset management, executing strategies to optimize income, minimize expenses, and increase long-term property value.
- Monitor asset performance, providing reports and strategic recommendations.
- Manage and monitor cash flows for all portfolio assets, ensuring properties meet or exceed financial projections.
- Collaborate with finance teams to analyze liquidity, debt service, and investor distributions, providing recommendations for cash flow optimization.
- Lead refinancing initiatives and recapitalization efforts, optimizing capital structure and negotiating favorable terms with financial institutions.
- Analyze market conditions to identify opportunities for debt or equity restructuring to maximize returns and portfolio flexibility.
- Oversee the due diligence process for acquisitions, refinancings, recapitalizations, and loan origination, coordinating with internal teams and third-party consultants to review legal, environmental, and financial aspects.
- Identify risks and opportunities during due diligence and provide actionable recommendations to enhance transaction value.
- Negotiate purchase agreements, financing structures, and joint venture partnerships in collaboration with legal, finance, and brokerage teams, while mitigating acquisition risks.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, asset management, loan origination, and investment management.
- Proven track record in managing acquisitions, refinancing, recapitalization, loan origination, and portfolio management.
- Expertise in financial modeling and underwriting using Argus and Excel.
- Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics, investment strategies, and capital markets.
- Experience with structuring and negotiating loan agreements, including terms, interest rates, and covenants.
- Ability to manage complex transactions and drive them through to completion with multiple stakeholders involved.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability, capable of identifying risks and opportunities and providing strategic solutions.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
