Senior Operations Analyst – Credit Operations

A well-known investment management firm located in Minneapolis, MN is seeking to hire a Senior Analyst, Private Credit Operations. Reporting to the Head of Investment Operations, you will work with multiple teams across the firm including other operations groups, valuations, investment management, investment product, fund services, legal and compliance and information technology teams. Eligible candidates must have 5 years of private credit experience, with a strong attention to detail and highly organized! Compensation will range from $95,000-105,000 a strong bonus.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee private credit lifecycle, from execution to payoff
• Manage loan administration and transaction booking
• Act as main contact for custodian banks on private investments and settlements
• Assist with closing activities, transaction management, and issue resolution
• Support security setup, trade compliance, and execution
• Stay updated on regulations and investment guidelines, addressing queries
• Coordinate deal amendments and system updates with legal
• Resolve custodian and client discrepancies
• Maintain private market data and ensure accuracy across systems
• Represent Private Markets in cross-functional projects
  
  

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Math, or Computer Science
• 5 years of experience within a Private Credit operations role
• Experience reviewing Private Credit loan documents (credit agreements, amendments, payoffs) for key terms and operational details
• Strong technical skills including proficiency in MS Excel, comfortable with mid-level data manipulation and ability to learn new systems is required
• Must be onsite 3 days/week
