Position Summary
The heart of the DCVC (Dallas College Venture Club) entrepreneur development center initiative is its community. The actions, services, and overall character of the Community Coworking Manager (“CCM”) is the foundation and catalyst for maintaining an environment that attracts members and centers them in a positive experience that helps them reach their full potential. This position requires an individual who is versed in organizational development, office management and administration, and is great at building and maintaining impactful relationships. We support a progressive environment and encourage each member of our team to grow in skillset, character, and creativity. This role is perfect for the individual looking to create a long-term, impact centered, legacy. A thoughtful, solution oriented, genuine, responsible, and resourceful individual with a positive mindset and creative ideas is ideal for this role.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Task management and delegation to ensure efficacy of goal completion.
- Self-starter who is detail oriented, with the ability to think independently to create solutions and perform at a high level.
- Proficient in administrative computer software such as CRM, Microsoft Products, Social Media platforms, and apps.
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in business project management and business operations.
- Comfortable facilitating an adult learning environment both in-person and online.
- Knowledge in business educational development, entrepreneurship.
- Be a positive, supportive influence and team member with Dallas College’s student and community members.
- Kind, patient, but stern and orderly when engaging with patrons of the space.
- Excellent time-management and task prioritization and delegation.
