Job Summary
Our client, a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in McKinney, TX, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Director / Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead our clinical team. As the Clinical Director, you will supervise a team of BCBAs and behavior technicians, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and ensure clinical excellence across programs. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership: Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of ABA treatment plans to ensure they are individualized, effective, and aligned with best practices.
- Supervision: Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and training to BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and other clinical staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining high standards of care.
- Program Management: Manage day-to-day clinical operations, including scheduling, caseload assignments, and quality assurance reviews.
- Client Care: Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), analyze data, and design behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to address client needs.
- Compliance: Ensure all services comply with ethical guidelines (e.g., BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code), state regulations, and insurance requirements.
- Collaboration: Partner with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support client goals and promote generalization of skills across settings.
- Training & Development: Lead staff training initiatives, including workshops and ongoing education, to enhance clinical competency and stay current with ABA research.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support staff in meeting certification and licensure requirements.
- Business Development: Collaborate with administrative leadership to expand services, improve client outcomes, and contribute to organizational growth in the McKinney area.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a BCBA, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role (e.g., Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Director).
- Licensure: Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of Texas (or eligible to obtain licensure within 30 days of hire).
- Skills:
- Expertise in conducting FBAs, developing BIPs, and analyzing behavioral data.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with staff, families, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with ABA software (e.g., CentralReach, Catalyst) and Microsoft Office Suite.
