Clinic Director (BCBA) - Kingwood, TX (Northeast Houston, TX.)
JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Clinic Director (BCBA) with expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis to lead our center. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Mentor and supervise BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical staff to enhance confidence, performance, quality, productivity, and morale
- Proactively monitor and manage BCBA and RBT scheduled hours, resolving conflicts and ensuring billed hours targets are met
- Drive billable hours for BCBAs and RBTs to achieve clinic growth objectives
- Ensure delivery of 85% of authorized care
- Maintain up-to-date expertise in insurance requirements, billing codes, and practices
- Conduct performance evaluations for BCBAs and BCaBAs, and oversee BCBA-led evaluations for RBTs
- Attend conferences to earn CEUs and expand knowledge for effective staff supervision
- Collaborate with Intake and Business Managers to monitor waitlists and ensure timely client intake processes
- Work with the Therapy Scheduler to coordinate schedules
- Perform and oversee assessments
- Ensure timely completion of P2P reviews and appeals
- Review BCBA treatment plans as needed for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness
- Maintain caseload documentation reflecting authorized, long-term, and short-term client hours
- Assess staffing needs and participate in hiring, including conducting interviews when necessary
- Recommend process improvements and address company concerns with the CEO and COO
- Build strong relationships with clients and their families
- Provide clinical consultation to BCBAs, RBTs, school professionals, and parents/guardians
- Oversee therapy program implementation to uphold best clinical practices
- Deliver direct clinical services to clients, maintaining an appropriate caseload to support clinic growth and staff well-being
QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Current BCBA certification and state licensure, in good standing with the state and BACB
- Proficiency in systems like Central Reach and SharePoint
- Ability to make swift, effective decisions for the company’s benefit
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong follow-up skills with vendors and clients
- High attention to detail and thoroughness
