Description
- Coordinate submission and follow up for issues related to safety and surveillance equipment or systems for resolution.
- Collaborate with other District officials, as assigned, in the advancement of school safety and surveillance.
- Track departmental/divisional projects as directed, such as summer school site selection, on campus security checks, audit follow ups and on-
- campus training for safety and surveillance equipment and systems.
- Interface with the Associate Superintendent, Executive Directors and campus administrators to track progress on resolutions for safety and surveillance concerns on and around the campuses.
- Develop safety and surveillance collateral to include quick guides, handbooks, etc.
- Provide regular updates and status reports regarding campus safety and surveillance equipment and system issues and resolution.
- Present or articulate procurement and installation updates to campus administrators pertaining to safety and surveillance projects.
- Follow up on safety and surveillance monitoring requirements for correctional actions for status and completion actions.
- Coordinate completion of the campus facility concerns related to safety and surveillance equipment and systems with campus leadership.
- Create and monitor response time reports to ensure timely completion of all submitted work orders.
- Assist with implementation of campus safety and surveillance equipment and systems to prevent safety threats.
- Collaborate with various departments in designing strategies related to safety and surveillance to ensure campus safety.
- Submit requisitions in ORACLE to build the matrix
- Create collateral materials regarding processes and procedures for safety and surveillance equipment and systems to assist campuses and School Leadership
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university -Emergency Management/Planning preferred
- Required 3-5 Direct experience in law enforcement, education or in a related role.
- Willingness to be part of a collaborative environment and work closely with colleagues and parents.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing
- No felony convictions; must submit to electronic fingerprinting as a pre-requisite for employment drug screening, and polygraph.
- Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing
