Role Description
This is a contract role for an Adjunct Professor position in the College of International Studies at Dallas International University. The role involves developing and teaching a course in Globalization at the sophomore level in the Spring of 2025. Teaching will be on-site at our SW Dallas campus MWF afternoon. (7500 W. Camp Wisdom Rd., Dallas, TX 75236).
Qualifications
- Master's required, PhD preferred, in a field related to Globalization
- Teaching experience in globalization or related field
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Engaging pedagogical methods and ability to handle hybrid teaching (in-class students with Zoom students simultaneously)
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Experience in curriculum development
- Ability to manage a course via Canvas
- Understanding of diverse cultures and languages
- Able to sign DIU's statement of Christian faith in good conscience
