Corporate Sponsorship Business Development Intern
POSITION SUMMARY: The Dallas Mavericks organization is seeking motivated, outgoing, and dedicated candidates to become an integral part of our Corporate Sponsorship department.
LENGTH OF INTERNSHIP:
- June 2 – July 31, 2025. (Duration may change because of performance and/or business needs.)
- Mandatory In-Person Internship Development Session. (Every Monday morning.)
- Must be able to work 29 hours per week (3-4 day/wk.), which may include nights and weekends as needed and working games.
JOB FUNCTION:
- Assist the corporate sponsorship team in coordinating and executing sponsor-related research, got to market strategy, pitch decks, data entry, and creative refresh.
- Support the business development department to execute new business proposals.
- Assist in working with other internal departments (Creative Services, Public Relations, and Community) on various projects.
- Assist with any hospitality projects.
- Manage and track inventory of sponsor collateral material.
- Assist with day-to-day tasks and requests.
- Perform additional office duties and special projects as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function as well as the following:
- Ability to multi-task, handle challenging tasks, and work well in a team environment
- Proficient in basic computer software programs (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist others.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be currently enrolled in a Jr. or 4-year college with a preferred concentration in Sports Marketing/Management, Business/Marketing, or Advertising
