Scope of the Position:
The Membership Associate is responsible for servicing in-bound communications for approximately 14,000 Membership households between $120 to $999 levels across multi-channels. An integral position within the Development department, the Membership Associate will facilitate all Member emails and phone calls for the Museum, assist Members resolve complaints and inquiries, obtain tickets, process membership and annual fund donations, and provide administrative support.
The ideal candidate for the Membership Associate at the Dallas Museum of Art will be a strong relationship builder and a good verbal and written communicator. Candidates who are driven by exceptional customer service and have prior Museum or non-profit sector work experience are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist members with renewals, upgrades, ticketing, annual fund donations, and event reservations.
- Respond to all member inquiries by phone and email and ensure efficient resolution, escalating as needed.
- Assist with member fulfillment and stewardship.
- Assist with reports and data projects.
- Maintain member record accuracy in donor database.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education, Experience, and Certification:
- Bachelors’ degree preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite required.
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge, and Ticketing systems (ETix) preferred.
- Nonprofit experience, preferably in the arts and cultural sector preferred.
