Violin Shop School Representative

Dallas Strings is a 20 year old family run business. We are the largest School Music Violin only dealer in North Texas. We are are passionate about our school orchestra programs and have family members who are music educators. We have a small staff with a large on-site repair facility. Our employees have been with us for many years and we are proud of this. We are seeking a team member who is passionate about their career and would be a good fit with us. Overview
We are seeking a passionate Violin Shop School Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with educators and customers to promote our violin shop's educational programs and services.

Duties
- Collaborate with public school educators, fine art directors to help support our local orchestra programs. Enhance 20 year relationships with the teachers and improve our market-share of business.
- Weekly visits to teachers to provide instruments, instrument switch-outs
- Assist in organizing and coordinating new instrument try-outs prior to the end of a school year
- Delivery of new rental instruments at the beginning of a new school year.
- Develop new relationships with teachers, parents, and students to promote orchestra programs.
- Maintain accurate records of school visits, interactions, and program participation

-Pick up and delivery of school owned instruments repairs weekly.

Store Requirements

- Two days in the store preparing for weekly runs
- Sales of violins, violas, cellos, basses
- New rental contract preparation

- updating spreadsheets of calls, completing and billing of repaired delivery items
- Customer service in person and on the phone
- New rental contract preparation

Experience
- Experience in the orchestra/school music business
- Knowledge of local Dallas Ft. Worth school market is helpful.
- Ability to analyze data, spot trends and make marketing recommendations for increased market share.
Physical demands

- Ability to carry large instruments such as basses and cellos
- Ability to carry large volume of instruments while keeping them safe
- Ability to analyze data, spot trends and make marketing recommendations for increased market share.

Pay: $38,675.79 - $46,577.29 per year
