Pay Range: Up to $150,000/year (based on experience)

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Manager to lead a Level III NICU in a 360 bed multi-specialty hospital. With a census of approximately 75 patients daily and a staff of 150 FTEs, this role requires a dynamic leader dedicated to ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, including staffing, admissions, and discharges to ensure efficient and high-quality care.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care to uphold the highest standards of clinical excellence.
- Support efforts to enhance patient safety, reduce clinical variation, and improve cost-efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration to achieve superior patient outcomes and experiences.
- Implement evidence-based practices to elevate patient care and satisfaction.
- Identify development opportunities for team members and support ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state of Texas or Compact RN license
- If holding a Compact RN license from another state, a Texas RN license must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Experience:
- 3-5 years in healthcare
- 2 years in a supervisory role in an acute care setting
- Certifications:
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- Specialty Certification (e.g., RNC-NIC, CPN) must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- NRP preferred for L&D candidates
