Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of L&D nurses while ensuring optimal staffing levels and clinical competencies
- Drive quality improvements through evidence-based practices and performance metrics
- Oversee patient safety initiatives and regulatory compliance measures
- Manage unit operations, including patient flow, resource allocation, and equipment maintenance
- Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care outcomes
- Develop and implement strategies to elevate patient experience and satisfaction
- Monitor and analyze clinical outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state license
- 3-5 years of progressive clinical experience in Labor & Delivery
- 2 years of leadership experience in an acute care setting
- BLS certification required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- RNC-OB certification
- NRP and FHM certifications
- ACLS certification
- Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
