Description
Job Summary
The Assistant to the Director of Chapel Music and Worship will assist with all things managed by the director of Chapel Music & Worship for Dallas Seminary.
Duties/Responsibilities

Assist with music in chapels as needed

Coordinate & build relationships with student and campus musicians

Coordinate & build relationships with student and campus vocalists

Assist with band rehearsals and sound check

Assist with maintenance of instruments/equipment and training for chapel music program

Manage music library & music licenses for chapel music

Assist with coordination of chapel flow (planning center software) with chaplain assistant and media crew

Manage organization & equipment of chapel music office

Assist with other campus-wide music needs and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Advanced vocal or instrumental abilities
- Good physical & virtual organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adjust to various situations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment
- Ability to learn music software workflows
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Native Apple apps
Education and Experience
- Undergraduate degree
- A few years of music training
- Music performance experience
- Some admin ability
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times (for equipment handling)
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds with assistance (for equipment handling)
Salary : $15 - $17
