What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ticketing Internship - SUMMER - College Credit Only position at Dallas Wings?
Ticketing Intern:
The Dallas Wings are seeking a ticketing Intern. The Ticketing Intern will work hand-in-hand with the ticket sales team and report to the Sr. Director of Ticket Sales & Service. Your time with the Dallas Wings will afford you real world experiences that will build the skills and knowledge required to succeed at selling in the sports industry
Areas you will be learning about:
- Learn Sales Force
- Learn about day-to-day ticket operations
- Gain practical sports marketing experience
- Learn how to utilize ticketing system
Learning Opportunities:
- Prospect potential season ticket holder opportunities and groups outings
- Assist with setting up the Box Office
- Participate in community events geared towards sales and lead generation
- Assisting the sales department in day-to-day ticket operations
- Offering sales/marketing feedback/suggestions as it pertains to the sales department
- Assisting clients and providing customer service
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work non-traditional and long hours including evening and weekends
- Students must be currently enrolled at an accredited university; in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
