What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Specialist position at Daltile?
- Reviews and monitors payroll/ timekeeping processes for accuracy and consistency.
- Administers updates and other duties in HR related systems. Keeps electronic records and databases up to date and accurate.
- Assists HR Specialist with orientation of new hires and temporaries.
- Keeps supervisors informed of work in progress and any problem areas.
- Supports the HR Manager in all areas of administrative services and special projects as needed.
- Assists in maintaining facility organization charts and employee directory.
- Assist employees with information needs.
- Maintain confidential employee files.
- Provides basic administrative support to HR department.
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Follow Safety Procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience and Knowledge Required.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related area highly preferred. HS Diploma required. Knowledge of HR laws, regulations and industry required.
- 1 or more years of HR experience required. 4 years in lieu of education.
- Strong interpersonal communication and training skills.
- Conflict resolution skills. Organization skills. Data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Must have good computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to type or answer phones.
- The associate may walk, stand, talk or hear.
