Dal-Tile is seeking a talented Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment, including but not limited to conveyor systems, pumps, motors, and electrical control systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and implement effective repairs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct inspections and identify potential maintenance needs to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to develop and implement maintenance strategies that maximize equipment uptime and productivity.
- Utilize hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment, to perform maintenance tasks.
- Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certifications or vocational training in industrial maintenance is preferred.
- Proficient score as defined by Dal-Tile on the NOCTI exam
- Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices related to industrial maintenance.
