Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

2 on 2nd shift

$27.90/hr. $1.50 Shift Premium starting increases every 6 months to maximum of $35.00/hour within three years.

General Summary: Support the manufacturing areas with plant focus on minimizing down time, increasing productivity and maintain the overall Toyota Production System as well as company policies/procedures.

II. Essential Job Functions

• Support maintenance activities on all production equipment, facilities, and utility systems to provide a reliable production platform.
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance in conjunction with production management to ensure operability of all plant production equipment and facilities.
• Perform general building maintenance
• Oversee machines in Automatic Assembly area, Stamping Press area, Coating (Painting( area, and Automatic Logistics area.
• Machine uptime/downtime management
• Support Kaizen and other related activities
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Industrial Maintenance Associates degree preferred
  
  

Experience

• 2-5 years experience in robotics tuning, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication.
  
  

Personal/Technical Skills

• Self-starter with strong work ethic
• Good problem solving and analytical skills
• Flexibility in a changing environment
• Mandatory overtime flexibility
  
  

Language Skills

• English, both written and verbal
  
  

Computer/Software

• Basic Microsoft Office applications
  
  

IV. Work Environment/Conditions

Plant: Automotive manufacturing plant

Travel: 0-10%
