Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Maintenance Technician - Distribution to join our TEAM! As the Maintenance Technician - Distribution, we need someone who can adjust machines, the facility and equipment for proper operation.

Operates and performs various electrical and mechanical duties on machines, equipment and the facility.
Major Function And Scope
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The associate is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The associate may be exposed to a wide range of temperatures. The noise level is usually loud. Major Function And Scope
- As a Warehouse Maintenance Technician , you’ll be a critical part of the team, ensuring the facilities, equipment and grounds of the distribution center are kept in excellent condition in order to support the safe and efficient movement of goods to, from and through the warehouse
- You’ll use blueprints, diagrams, manuals and written instructions to perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on key equipment, machinery, electrical systems and structures
- In this role, you will maintain, schedule maintenance, and assist in repairing warehouse equipment
- You’ll ensure the upkeep of a clean, organized and full-functional distribution center environment
- Visually inspect and test machinery and powered equipment using electrical, electronic testing equipment and hand tools
- Design machine parts, jigs, fixtures and tools and improves existing efficiencies
- Maintain, change and charge batteries for powered equipment to ensure efficient workflow
- Paint, plaster, and perform building maintenance functions including plumbing and carpentry to maintain facility
- Completes minor and routine maintenance such as changing light bulbs, replacing filters, install and repair office fixtures and other building related maintenance
- Assists with preventative maintenance to ensure proper operation of Distribution Center equipment
- Performs maintenance and repairs adhering to all safety guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection.
- 1-year or more facility maintenance experience.
