Dalton Injury Law is a growing Personal Injury and Workers Compensation Law Firm located in Boynton Beach, FL. We specialize in handling Construction Site Injury, Work Related Injury, Car / Truck Crash Injury Cases, Wrongful Death Claims, and various other Injury or Insurance Related Claims.
Role Description
This is a full time on-site role for a Paralegal in our Boynton Beach, Florida office. Hours are 8 : 30am to 4 : 30pm Monday to Friday.
The Paralegal will assist our litigation personal injury team, consisting of a legal assistant and attorney, with moving files from initiation through trial. This position will also be responsible for filing court documents, drafting motions, finalizing discovery, and preparing for depositions and mediations. Position will also conduct investigation of case issues, assist with expert communcation, retention and discovery, and trial
preparation.
Qualifications :
1. MUST HAVE prior litigation experience handling either property damage, liability, personal injury, workers compensation and / or other insurance litigation experience;
2. Knowledge of general discovery, litigation, court and legal procedures;
3. Must be able to work in office 40 hours per week (No remote work available); and
4. Must love working in personal injury, and being able to work on a small team with attorney and legal assistant to help our clients get the best possible outcomes!
Please note we will
not be considering any current lawyers, out of state / foreign lawyers, current law students or contractors who work for multiple other firms for the position. We are looking for someone who lives locally and can work without relocation.
Compensation will be based off of experience. Benefits include paid time off, some paid holidays and potential for quarterly bonuses based off performance and work history. No Health / Disability / Retirement benefits are available for this position.
