POSITION SUMMARY:
Serving both Harrisonville, Missouri and Pella, Iowa growing ranges, the IT Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving IT-related issues, managing network infrastructure, and provide technical support to system users. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and a thorough understanding of information technology, including hardware, software, and networking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (comprehensive, but not limited to):
- Monitor network performance and help maintain network security
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues reported by users
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and security settings
- Ensure the availability of network resources and services
- Assist with Installing and configuring network hardware, such as routers and switches
- Install network cabling
- Monitor system performance and security logs
- Train users on new hardware and software
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- IT Vocational training or other IT training / classes
- 3 years of experience working in the IT field
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Proficient in Windows operating system
- Demonstrated knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP
- Demonstrated experience with network hardware, such as routers and switches
- Low voltage and low voltage wiring knowledge a plus
- Ability to maintain consistent documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, flexible with work hours, and willing to be available when necessary
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Does what it takes to get the job done
