We are seeking a results-driven Director of Finance to oversee critical financial operations,
ensuring the organization’s financial health and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles (GAAP). This role will focus on managing the balance sheet, accrual processes, and
inventory control while supporting the company’s financial strategy and operational goals.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
Financial Management and Oversight:
- Oversee the preparation, analysis, and management of the company’s balance
sheet, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage accrual processes to ensure proper expense recognition in compliance
with GAAP.
- Maintain adherence to GAAP standards, implementing processes to ensure
compliance across financial activities.
Inventory Control and Analysis:
- Develop and implement inventory management policies to ensure accurate
valuation and minimize obsolescence.
- Work with operations and supply chain teams to align inventory levels with
financial and operational objectives.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy and
resolve discrepancies.
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
and growth strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial
planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems for greater
efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing
environment.
- Equip team members with the tools and knowledge needed to adapt to evolving
business needs and financial requirements.
Reporting and Compliance:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including
month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or advanced degree
- preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, with proven expertise in
- GAAP, balance sheet management, and accrual accounting.
- Experience in inventory control and financial process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, with a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools, including advanced Excel and ERP systems.
