$500 Sign On Bonus (Prorated to $300 per this 24 hour per week position)

Title: Medical Practice Patient Representatives (Clerical) NHMP Float Team! - Float Differential $ Included! - Part Time - 24 hours per week, 8 hour shifts between 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Summary: Provides clerical and administrative support and coordinates the patient care activities for physician practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy of patient's information, including demographics and insurance.
• Performs reception of customers and communicates pleasantly and effectively.
• Answers phones, routes calls, take messages, conveys information, and assures accurate communication.
• Registers, verifies and schedules patient appointments, testing, and referrals.
• Reschedules cancelled, no show, tickler appointments.
• Processes record requests, including the copying, billing, charging and recording.
• Collects co-pays and reconciles moneys for deposit.
• Obtains and coordinates record retrieval for new and established patients.
• Completes audits as assigned.
• Performs intake and processing of medical records and other documentation and correspondence via eFax.
• Presents a professional appearance and image.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Maintains and Model Nuvance Health Values.
• Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
  
  

Other information

Required: High School Diploma/GED.MS Outlook, Data Entry, Excellent Communication Skills (written and verbal). HS Graduate or Equivalent.

Minimum Experience: six months

Desired: Practice Management System experience, Medical office experience, MS Excel.

Salary Range

$16.0000 - $29.5147 Hourly (Based on years of relative experience)
