Summary / Goal of Position :
This position is responsible for collaboratively developing the parent and child together activities (PACT) curriculum for the adult education family literacy program to support both the adult learner's literacy development, as well as the elementary school aged student's literacy development.
Essential Tasks of the Position (Illustrative, not inclusive)
- Utilizing a deep understanding of the district's literacy curriculum for elementary grades, collaboratively work to develop and formalize PACT curriculum for adult education family literacy program;
- Meet with curriculum team members as scheduled;
- Submit curriculum drafts to WERACE Facilitator and Director for feedback and final approval

Work Schedule :
Curriculum writers will work throughout the months of January, February, and March to create and formalize curriculum for family literacy programming. Writers will develop and submit to the WERACE Director a schedule of curriculum writing meetings.
Compensation :
This is a part-time, non-union position. Stipend for this position is $1,500.
