- Supports a variety of activities ranging from Art, Physical Education, Gardening, Science, Reading, Math, etc.
- Plan and execute lesson plans and projects and record progress observations.
- Able to communicate well and work cooperatively with colleagues.
- Able to problem solve quickly.
- Must adhere to the policies and procedures of the summer programs and the Danbury Board of Education.
- Attend staff meetings and program professional development activities.
- Keep students supervised and safe at all times.
- Must be willing to take leadership responsibilities in the classroom.
- Able to ride on a school bus and work in a farm environment.
- High School Diploma, GED or higher
- Experience working in summer programs, CYO or other student groups.
- Desirable to be certified in First Aid and CPR.
