Dance Headquarters is a growing dance studio and event rental venue in need of a Part-time Front Desk Associate/Office Manager. We are centrally located in Kearny Mesa of San Diego, CA.
Dance Headquarters' number one goal is to provide an amazing space to either host an event or learn to dance while helping everyone gain confidence and give them a place to belong. This position plays a vital role in those goals.
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-oriented Receptionist to join our dynamic team at our dance studio. As the first point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the dance studio and event rental side of operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- Social Media experience-@Facebook & Instagram
- Prior experience in reception, customer service, or retail roles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Google
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Pay: Starting at $18/hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
Schedule: In person Monday-Friday: 12:00-5:00pm PST
Duties:
- Greet clients, visitors, and students with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries regarding classes, schedules, and general information about the dance studio.
- Respond to email inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management as needed.
- Maintain updated records of payments.
- Various Admin jobs to maintain communication between the studio and the customer.
- Various Admin jobs to support the teaching staff.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, instructors, and event coordinators by providing exceptional customer service and addressing their needs effectively.
- Monitor & communicate studio schedules, rentals
- Maintain a tidy appearance of the reception area, restrooms, and kitchenette.
- Provide clerical/administrative support as requested.
- Posting on social media accounts such as Instagram and Facebook every day with updated class or event graphics
- Creating and sending out two newsletters each week.
- Update the website with class and event graphics.
- Other duties as required.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- No weekends
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
