Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and organized Preschool Dance Instructor & Studio Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with young children, has a strong foundation in early childhood dance education (particularly ballet), and can efficiently handle administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of our studio.
Preschool Dance Instruction
- Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans tailored to preschoolers.
- Teach fundamental dance techniques with an emphasis on ballet, rhythm, and creative movement.
- Foster a fun and nurturing environment that encourages self-expression, coordination, and confidence in young dancers.
- Use storytelling, props, and music to captivate and inspire preschool-aged students.
- Communicate effectively with parents about student progress and class expectations.
Studio Administration
- Handle class scheduling, enrollment management, and student records.
- Assist with tuition processing, attendance tracking, and communication with parents.
- Support marketing efforts by helping with social media updates, newsletters, and community outreach.
- Coordinate recital preparations, costume orders, and class showcases.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization, ensuring a welcoming environment for students and families.
Experience & Skills
- Prior experience teaching dance to preschoolers in a structured setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and classroom management.
- Background in administrative work, customer service, or studio operations is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle both teaching and administrative responsibilities with ease.
- Familiarity with studio management software or willingness to learn.
