Overview : We are a thriving dance studio located in Greenville, SC and opening a second location in Simpsonville, SC in January 2025. Our studio is dedicated to providing exceptional dance education and fostering a love for dance among our students. With a passionate team and a commitment to excellence, we strive to create a positive and inspiring environment for dancers of all ages and skill levels.

Position : Marketing Coordinator

Location : Remote, 115 Pelham Rd. Ste. 24 Greenville, SC 29615

Responsibilities : As a Marketing Coordinator at our dance studio, you will be responsible for social media and marketing campaigns and paid advertising that will help grow the studio and reach its ideal clients. Your contributions will play a key role in ensuring the success and growth of our studio. We measure success in this role by the number of students we have dancing with us, and the number of qualified leads coming into our enrollment funnel.

Responsibilities of the role will include (but not be limited to) :

  • Collaborate with Owner to create yearly and monthly marketing plans for the studio
  • Target audience research
  • Brand management
  • Market the studio and programs at the studio via social media, website optimization, paid advertising and community events
  • Work with owner / program directors / teachers to create communication and promotions for each season
  • Manage marketing budget as set by Owner
  • Work with and manage marketing partners or graphic designer to design, produce and distribute schedules, flyers, and promotional pieces
  • Campaign analysis, track engagement and analytics on all social media accounts
  • Competitor research
  • Organize and manage all in-studio communication postings
  • Design limited-edition merchandise

    • Requirements : To excel in this role, we are seeking individuals who align with our studio's values and possess the following qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of marketing experience with a small business
  • Must believe in the DWL vision, mission and values and be invested in our success as a whole.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with task orientation with attention to detail.
  • Excited by the challenge of growing our student base and continuing to reach our target market. Respects and values the creative process of fellow employees.
  • Strong command of speaking and writing skills. Graphic design experience is a plus.
  • Proficient on computer. Experience with Asana, Google Drive, Excel, Canva and CRMs preferred.
  • Self-starter, pleasant / helpful / optimistic, minimal supervision required.
  • Reliable and consistent.
  • Dance knowledge preferred.

  • External Relationships : Advertising partners, social media channels, local community partners
