Dandy Acres is a bustling animal hospital looking for (fulltime only) team members for our growing hospital in South Lyon.
Our front desk is the face of our hospital. We answer phones, greet clients, handle appointment flow, and conquer all general receptionist duties with warmth and grace. We take pride in our exceptional, compassionate customer service, as well as the high medical standards practiced by our entire team, for the puppies and kittens as well as the senior pets we care for. This role is perfect for those passionate about customer service AND pets:
- Greeting clients in person and on the phone by name with a smile, every time
- Checking in patients and working alongside nurses and doctors
- Scheduling and confirming appointments via phone, in-person, email, text, and our app
- Handling and directing emails, faxes, phone calls
- Handling financial transactions after each appointment and at the end of the day
- Assisting with hospital cleanliness, everybody cleans in an animal hospital!
- Providing for clients’ and patients needs
- Opportunity for advancement, we may train capable people into nurses over time

Requirements:
- Preference for previous work with animals, or a receptionist/call center setting with strong phone customer service / scheduling experience, but we will train you

- Energetic work ethic with attention to detail required - we're on our feet moving all day, this is NOT a boring or slow-paced role

- 4 shifts per week and every other Saturday (8:00am-1:30pm)
- Pay range is $14-$16 depending on prior customer service or professional animal handling experience. Negotiable for exceptionally experienced candidate.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
