Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- New Client Acquisition : Identify and prospect new business opportunities within the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Actively generate new sales and business opportunities within assigned territories. Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients. Develop and execute strategies to secure new clients.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention. Develop in-depth knowledge of their organization and needs, establishing and maintaining frequent contact. Ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Sales Strategy Development : Collaborate with the leadership team and Managing Directors to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. Perform strategic and tactical account planning, management, and execution.
- Proposal Development : Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, outlining our services, value proposition, and pricing structure. Collaborate with internal staff on proposal development. Negotiate contracts and agreements to close sales deals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with Managing Directors and consultants to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions. Support marketing initiatives when necessary, such as attending tradeshows and conferences. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients.
- Sales Performance Tracking : Monitor and track sales performance metrics, including revenue growth, client acquisition rates, and client retention rates. Provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team. Maintain sales activity data within Salesforce. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitors, providing market insights to internal teams.
- Achieve Sales Targets : Achieve sales targets for assigned clients through effective strategy implementation and client management. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Attend industry conferences and events to network and generate leads.
