Scope:
As the CLDP Program Manager, you will be responsible to strengthen the sales talent pipeline through managing and building the Danfoss Power Solutions CLDP Program. In this role you will coach the development of future commercial talent within the sales organization on a daily basis with a dedicated focus on competency learning, sales enablement, succession planning and organizational engagement. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain strong communication with each participant, rotational managers, partners within the sales community, navigating effective relationships for an impactful program experience.
Job Responsibilities
- CLDP ownership including planning, operationalizing, executing, and driving continuous improvement
- Recruitment and selection of participants in collaboration with senior commercial leaders
- Manage program budget, expenses, and work with vendors
- Lead orientation, onboarding, and training activities
- Leadership - daily oversight, performance, and coaching to participants; build and expand participants’ networks
- Manage curriculum and scheduling for program participants
- Manage and lead execution for program events, including orientation, cohort events and graduation
- Create and facilitate coaching workshops for employees and leaders
- Oversee commercial leadership development program branding strategy, promotion, and awareness to attract candidates and candidate exposure
- Conduct program evaluations; communicate results to stakeholders; identify opportunities to continuously improve
- Manage rotations and rotation transitions for each participant while facilitating their program curriculum
- Work closely with Sales Leaders across Regions, Divisions, and Business Units to deliver the strong future sales leadership pipelines for the organization
- Grow the program over time to include entry level global roles as well as leadership roles in both technical and commercial support of customers
- Proven experience leading strategic projects, translating into tactical plans and driving execution
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills. Can interact easily with people at all levels inside and outside of the company, with strong relationship building skills
- Experience navigating a fast paced, complex organization and thrives in matrixed environment.
- Naturally connects and builds trusted relationships with others, with effective stakeholder management, strong listening skills, emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.

- 3-5 years of experience leading high visibility projects and programs
- 2 years of experience leading teams
- 2 years of technical selling experience, desired
- Bachelor’s degree in technical, business or economic field
- Experience coaching and mentoring in the engineering and/or manufacturing industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle competing and shifting priorities, and rally partnership and support
- Ability to lead and drive organizational change and operationalize programs and processes
- Proven communication and presentation skills – both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and project presentations to senior management and global stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills, experience managing performance and leading culturally diverse teams
- Superior business acumen and strategy deployment
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Robust personal resilience, highly motivated team player with a strong personal drive
- Proven experience operating in a matrix organization with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
