- Job Description
Under minimal supervision, performs inspection duties related to all processes associated with receiving, fabricating, machining, assembling and shipping materials, partially completed materials, sub-assemblies and / or finished parts and products to customers. Performs a variety of inspections using all types of manual, automated, electronic and computer coordinate measuring devises and records data for traceability. Calibrates, adjusts and releases gauges and precision measuring instruments for use in the manufacturing processes. Checks product and parts being fabricated and assembled for shipment to customers and maintains quality and inspection records in accordance with management prescribed procedures. Assist in training and instruction of employees assigned to perform inspection work, as well as operators in proper measuring and gauging techniques.
