The Edelman Trust Institute is Edelman’s research institute and learning laboratory for trust that publishes data-driven insights around trust that inform leadership, strategy, policy, and sustained action in institutions. We're looking for a critical member of the team to produce content based on our primary research. By collaborating with Edelman’s research and marketing teams, you will effectively promote and socialize the Edelman Trust Barometer through written content, podcasts, videos, and presentations. You will also have a hand in shaping the narrative and wording of Trust Barometer reports and content. This role requires you to work in partnership with high-level stakeholders across the organization, in addition to external partners.
\n- Collaborate with the Edelman Trust Institute, Edelman Marketing, and Edelman Trust Barometer research teams to utilize a trove of data to create compelling written, visual, social, and audio content
- Advance the study of trust across business, government, NGOs, media, and society by creating content that goes beyond analysis to promote insights that can help leaders earn and build trust
- Produce The TrustMakers podcast: Work with Edelman Marketing and our partner Advertising Week to create a guest schedule, secure and liaise with guests, prep and edit bi-weekly episodes, and create promotional assets for social
- Partner with Edelman executives and leaders, including our CEO, to prepare for presentations, speeches, and panels about trust
- Produce the Edelman Trust Institute’s monthly newsletter, The Trust Report
- Manage and grow the Edelman Trust Institute’s LinkedIn account
- Write and edit trust-related essays authored by Edelman experts
- Contribute to the development of narratives and wording for Trust Barometer reports and content, including but not limited to drafting headlines, organizing chapter outlines, writing talk tracks and talking points for event speakers
- Manage projects, especially around Trust Barometer launches, that require collaborating with graphic designers and video editors to bring content assets to fruition
- Work with the Trust Institute’s Head of Partnerships to identify and onboard new content-based partners that can amplify and enhance Edelman Trust Barometer reports and Trust Institute content and reach
- In partnership with Marketing, execute the Edelman Trust Barometer’s 25th anniversary external campaign
- 6 years of experience in content creation
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Digitally minded
- Exceptional writing and editing
- Able to weave a strong and clear narrative
- Experience translating data into engaging editorial content
- Experience creating content at a non-media business is a plus
- Fluent across business sectors and comfortable writing from a corporate and brand perspective
- Visual storytelling skills
- Self -starter and entrepreneurial
- Curious and innovative
- Channel agnostic and able to create a range of content
- Ability to effectively work with C-Suite leaders at Edelman and our partners, clients, etc.

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
