Daniels Engineering, Inc. is please to present this letter as an advertisement for an entry-level Civil Engineering Position that entails the follow duties and responsibilities:
- Cad Design (Power Geopak – Microstation)
- Surveying (mapping existing right of ways and easements using recorded plats and legal descriptions)
- Review of As-built drawings to aid design
- Construction site visit to aid in design
- Assist Engineer of Record in completing permit applications with the appropriate local agencies and municipalities
- Attending meetings or pre-construction conferences.
- EI Certificate preferred but not required, but must attain in 6 months from hire date
The typical work schedule is as follows:
- 40 hrs. per week, Mon. thru Fri. – 8am to 5pm, lunch is from 12pm to 1pm, position is hourly.
- Paid Holidays (Christmas & Thanksgiving)
The annual projected salary amount is $45,000 to $52,000 per year based on and contingent to working a 40-hour weekly schedule.
Projected Salary Increase Milestones:
- Professional Engineer Exam (PE), salary negotiable based on performance and national avg.
- 3% annual raise (in-line with the national inflation rate)
Reimbursables:
- Personal Vehicle usage for work related activities is reimbursed per the most current IRS rate
- Exam fees (e.g., EI & PE)
