What are the responsibilities and job description for the Divisional Finance Manager position at Daniels Health?
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our MCF Environmental Services team. MCF Environmental Services, Inc. established in 1989 is an environmental waste transportation services Company and a part of the Daniels Health Global business. In this role, you will direct and manage all financial and accounting functions for MCF. You will lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and the management accounting/reporting process. You will also review and advise the management team on all financial/budgetary requirements and develop financial goals in partnership with leadership.

- Ensure goals and initiatives align with company values, strategic goals, and business plans.
- Report variances to set standards and take corrective action.
- Explain cost variances monthly and participate in proactive measures to reduce variances from standard cost.
- Oversee preparation of financial reporting.
- Analyze and report efficiency variance and determine corrective action requirements.
- Ensure items are correctly classified and all reporting is prepared in accordance with GAAP.
- Spend time on the plant floor working with supervisors to help them understand costing variances.
- Prepare analysis to support new capital equipment with a complete understanding of IRR, payback, and NPV of investments.
- Ensure all corporate internal control requirements are met.
- Collaborate closely with Accounts Receivable to ensure payment compliance.
- Review customer contracts to ensure proper billing and enhance profitability potential.
- Prepare reports as required by senior management.
- Assist with the annual audit or any internal audit projects.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience, public accounting preferred
- Strong excel skills
- Exceptional analytical skills and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and works well in a team environment
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks accordingly, and meeting the expectations of multiple stakeholders, in a fast-paced environment.
