What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Intern position at Daniels Health?
The team People and Culture team is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic new graduate to join the organization for an 3 month internship with opportunity to sign on full time. Your projects will directly support and align with some of the main HR & Recruitment team goals. We are looking for someone who has a strong initiative and is willing to help us improve and incorporate change in our dynamic work environment.
- Assisting in recruitment coordination
- Completing special projects as necessary and capable and having the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently
- Tackling any problems that arise in a creative, organized, and productive manner
- Utilize Lever our applicant tracking system (ATS) for talent acquisition needs & Paylocity our onboarding / payroll platform for any HR needs
- Assist with onboarding process including new hire orientation and documentation
- Assist with ATS maintenance and reporting
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in all interactions with others in order to represent the organization professionally at all times
- The HR Intern position is well-suited for you if you:
- Are self-motivated and committed to results
- Are a creative problem solver and have the ability to listen and understand a process before recommending improvements
- Are technically proficient and utilize technology in efficient ways
- Have outstanding social skills and the ability to function well independently or within a team
- Are a self-starter with the ability to be productive and organized
- Bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business, Economics or a related field preferred
- Ability to work 40hrs per week during the internship term
- Strong business insight and continuous improvement skills
- Experience with Paylocity is preferred
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Ect.)
