JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Receptionist for Insurance Agency
Summary
Responsible for administrative duties and supporting the agency staff in providing excellent customer service to clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change.
1. Answer phones during business hours.
2. Receives and separates mail.
3. Completes the cash summary and makes deposits daily.
4. Take information from clients according to the applications they may require, i.e. auto.
5. Prepares binders, certificates, I.D. cards, and other documents for existing and new business.
6. Assembles policies for professional presentation to the client.
7. Maintains and updates computer records.
8. Make copies as needed.
9. Gathers knowledge of insurance coverage, exposures, and client needs.
10. Assists agents with client accounting.
11. Prepares and sends invoices.
12. Maintains current files and prepares files for dead storage.
13. Performs special projects as needed.
14. Supports and demonstrates the core values of the organization (integrity, respect, professionalism, enthusiasm, teamwork, and community).

Education and/or Experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be willing to work towards receiving an insurance agent license.

Pay: $17.29 - $17.74 per hour
