Job Summary: As a Level 1 Purchasing Specialist, you will assist in the procurement of electronic components and materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the sourcing and procurement of electronic components and materials.
- Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier information, and inventory levels.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support the purchasing team in preparing reports and presentations.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to understand purchasing needs.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in electronics.
- Helping with job estimation, material preparation for production and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of electronic components and their applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
