Danny’s Home Health Care provides in-home nursing and therapy services and is headquartered in Rochester Hills, MI. We are seeking a strategic and people-focused Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and support our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Administer benefits, 401k, and payroll-related functions.
- Handle employment verifications and process garnishments.
- Create and maintain HR policies, procedures, and handbook.
- Lead training and development programs for employees and managers.
- Manage HR systems, records, and reporting for compliance and efficiency.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on HR-related matters.
- Grant and manage employee access to systems.
- Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and related documentation.
- Send out company equipment to new hires and track returns.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years in human resources, with leadership experience preferred.
Certifications (Preferred): PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent.
Skills: Strong knowledge of employment laws, HRIS systems, and best practices.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
Preferred: Experience managing HR functions in California, with knowledge of state-specific labor laws and compliance requirements.
