Overview
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team here at our corporate office located in Rochester Hills, MI. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital marketing trends and have experience in managing social media accounts across various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and feedback to inform strategy adjustments.
- Utilize social listening tools to gather insights on audience preferences and behaviors.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to produce visually appealing content that aligns with brand messaging.
- Conduct SEO analysis to optimize content for search engines and improve visibility.
- Manage e-commerce initiatives through social media platforms to drive sales.
- Analyze performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and Hootsuite to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing and public relations.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hootsuite or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
- Experience in graphic design or familiarity with design software is a plus.
- Knowledge of e-commerce practices and how they integrate with social media marketing.
- Excellent photography skills for creating original content when necessary.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage audiences effectively.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights from performance metrics.
