Front Desk Receptionist – Danny Savery Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Fairhaven, MA)
Job Type: Part-time
Location: 17 Sarah’s Way, Fairhaven, MA
Hours:
- Monday & Wednesday: 4 PM – 9 PM
- Tuesday & Thursday: 6:30 PM – 9 PM
- Friday: 4 PM – 6:30 PM
- Sunday: 9 AM – 11:30 AM
Job Overview:
Danny Savery Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is seeking a friendly and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our Fairhaven location. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, is organized, and has strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors with a welcoming attitude.
- Manage and book appointments via text, email, and phone calls.
- Handle membership inquiries and enroll new students.
- Sell merchandise and martial arts programs.
- Maintain inventory and restock merchandise as needed.
- Perform cleaning duties to keep the academy presentable.
- Enter and update data in the front desk software.
- Give tours of the academy to prospective students and families.
- Assist with introducing new students to coaches and class structure.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with basic sales and handling transactions.
- Friendly, professional, and dependable.
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or front desk roles is a plus but not required.
