What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional - Residential (3210) position at Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services?
1st, 2nd and 3rd shift
Rotation schedule every other weekend
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide training and assistance to individuals with Developmental Disabilities in the areas of hygiene, eating, toileting, and community involvement. Responsible for working with individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviors in a group home setting. Monitor health needs and provide transportation for individuals. Maintain facility cleanliness and prepare meals. Complete documentation in accordance with all applicable standards. Schedule includes working holidays, weekends and during inclement weather.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Valid driver’s license
M2: High school diploma or equivalent
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$31,856 - $55,748
Shift Differential: $2.00 2nd Shift, $3.00 3rd Shift
