RESPONSIBILITIES
Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates support services for individuals in the Developmental Services Division in Adult Case Management Services, Child and Adolescent Services, and Early Childhood Services. Provides leadership and motivation to Community Support Services staff; serves as a clinical resource to staff; participates as a member of the Developmental Services Division management team; provides direct supervision to Community Support Services coordinators and supervisors; maintains positive public relations with community agencies; consults with community agencies and the DBHDS; monitors Medicaid funded services to assure compliance with regulations and efficient performance of approved services; performs quality assurance reviews of Community Supports Services records; serves as Agency liaison for all reviews and audits of Developmental Services programs; monitors services to determine appropriate maximization of billing; collects appropriate data to compile and analyze meaningful, informative and evaluative reports; monitors contracts directly related to Community Support Services programs; serves as liaison for transfers in and out of the Agency; responds to surveys, questionnaires, and studies for services provided, summarizing reports for the Developmental Services Director.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Must be a Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP), defined as someone who has at least one year of documented experience working directly with individuals who have intellectual or other developmental disabilities, either a doctor of medicine or osteopathy or a Registered Nurse with a valid Registered Nurse license to practice in Virginia, orholds at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field including, but not limited to, Sociology, Social Work, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Psychology
M2: Must meet the discipline requirements for a Certified Early Intervention Professional and Service Coordinator according to the Infant and Toddler Connection of Virginia Practice Manual
M3: At least five years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
M4: At least two years of experience in staff supervision
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$59,795 - $82,218
