Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent and organized individual to maintain the cleanliness of our kitchen and cafeteria area. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning assigned areas, equipment, and floors, as well as assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen and dining areas, including floors, walls, and equipment.
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks assigned by the manager or assistant manager.
- Sweep and mop floors, clean shelving units, and dust lights and equipment covers.
- Collect and transport waste materials to designated disposal areas.
- Assist with setting up the serving line and final kitchen and dining room clean up after serving times are finished.
- Maintain proper hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Food Handlers Certificate preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Basic working knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment.
