Group Benefits Account Manager

Danzig Group is hiring a Group Benefit's Account Manager!

Danzig Group is a Group Benefits Agency office located in Deerfield, IL. We specialize in providing & servicing competitive Employee Benefit Solutions to Companies. We are presently seeking a Full Time Health Insurance Account Manager to join our fast-paced Group Benefits team. This can be an entry level position for people joining or newly in the workforce or an experienced Insurance Account Manager (Resposibilities, Role & Pay would range based on experience). This role would be 5 days a week in the office, with some perks during our slow season (April-August).

Main Responsibilities:
- Generate quotes from insurance carriers
- Create spreadsheets & proposals using Excel
- Act as an administrative liaison between clients and insurance carriers
- Assist in the day-to-day administration & claim needs of client’s benefits
- Schedule client appointments
- Create, maintain, and strengthen Danzig Group’s relationship with clients and insurance carriers
- Maintain client and prospect database system

Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task and handle a substantial workload to meet deadlines
- Organizational and time management skills are imperative
- Prior experience in the Insurance field/current Insurance license is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently but also support the team
- Ability to ‘think outside the box’
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
- Experience with Employee Navigator Software is also a plus but not required
