Adequately provide resources for all assigned processes and procedures to fulfill requirements.  Awareness of expectations is demonstrated in all relevant levels of the organization.  Reporting on the operation (audits & inspections) nonconformity and performance of the QMS (business meetings, KPI reviews, etc.)

                                                     

• Ability to research and execute testing methods using Good Laboratory Practices.
• Basic understanding of physical and chemical properties materials.
• Ability to write technical reports and presentations that detail methods and findings.
• Ability to solve technical problems related to material characterizations and material properties.
• Understanding of MS Office suite
• Ability to interact with other Technicians, R&D Scientists, R&D Lab Supervisors as well as Daramic plant technicians and engineers to communicate test results and complete projects in a timely manner.

• Able to perform research, run experiments and generate test results to be shared with the Daramic development team.
• Analyzes data using statistical analysis and data analysis software.
• Able to run and evaluate data from chemical and analytical equipment such as GC-MS, particle size analyzer, DSC, Instron, ICP, wet chemistry methods, FTIR, etc.
• Prepares reports for internal distribution on testing conducted.
• Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Able to collaborate and work with other team members when called upon.

General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 50% of the time. Lighting and temperature are adequate. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard equipment available. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount to force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human body.

Education:                                           Technical path to a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or related field

The base compensation range for this role is $20 - $23 per hour. Base Compensation is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to: time in the role, previous experience, skills, knowledge, performance, work requirements, internal equity, and business/economic conditions.
