Position Summary
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $26.00 - $27.50 per hour
Schedule: M-F 7:00am-3:30pm
Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and/or quantitative testing on raw materials, components, and finished pharmaceutical products.
- Execute laboratory processes in compliance with GMPs, company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and test methods.
- Maintain accurate and complete laboratory records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot laboratory methods, processes, and testing equipment.
- Perform sampling activities, including environmental and swab samples, and manage proper disposal of materials.
- Actively participate in QC Team Discussions and investigations, including laboratory errors, Out of Specification (OOS) results, and deviation processes.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvements in laboratory procedures and processes.
- Conduct testing for laboratory investigations and support process area-related inquiries.
- Lead or contribute to specific projects and serve as an expert in assigned laboratory systems or equipment.
- Maintain inventories of reagents, glassware, and other supplies to support testing needs.
- Support investigations and troubleshoot processes related to Product Evaluation Testing (PET).
- Participate in off-shift or shift work as required by the role.
- Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, etc.) OR a minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience without a degree.
- Must be able to work off-shifts as required.
- Comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
