The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for coordinating rental arrangements for our customers at DARCARS Automotive Group. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
In this position, you will:
- Schedule customer reservations for rentals
- Manage customer rental requests and locate the desired vehicles to meet their needs
- Process customer information to qualify them for a rental through insurance
- Ensure rental cars are ready for use by scheduling timely service and maintenance on the rental fleet and cleaning them inside and out
- Take notes on car condition, mileage, and damage before and after customer use
- Process any damage information to be billed or collected through insurance
- Explain rental policy at the time of agreement and answer any questions
- Validate customer credentials, including driver's license and payment information
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in person
- Process customer payments
Key Responsibilities:
- Previous rental agent experience is a plus
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High School Degree or Equivalent (GED)
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background)
